Brandon Alexander shot and killed, 306000 block of East 34th Street

Officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of East 34th Street, just past the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington Avenue and 34th Street, just after 5 p.m. on reports of shots fired.

Police say a male victim was found lying in a parking lot in the area. EMS arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene. He was later identified as Brandon Alexander, 30.
